Birmingham Bike Show 2014

Left very early for a day at the Birmingham Bike show. The main theme of the show this year appeared to be Caff Racer style bikes which is quite a move away from previous years which focused on sports bikes.

Naked bikes were in, faired bikes appeared to be out, this was further evidenced by the enormous size of the triumph stand when compared to other main brands, but then I think I’m biased :-).

There weren’t many independent traders there but we did bump into Krazy Horse from Bury St Edmunds, home of the Norton Caff Racer.

The live shows were entertaining, with the smell of engine oil and petrol filling the arena, surprisingly more than the smell of Chips and Bovril.

Wonderful time chatting with new friends, especially Henry Cole!
